David Serero wins Best Arranger & Producer Award at the Palm Beach International Music Awards 2021
David Serero's version of "Thriller" from "Scarface, The Al Capone Musical" wins the Best Arranger & Producer Award at the Palm Beach International Music Awards 2021.
The Palm Beach International Music Awards (P.B.I.M.A.) judging panel consists of the most experienced and accomplished musicians, writers, and producers in the Music Industry. These judges are pioneers, with dozens of GRAMMY, E.M.M.Y., and Billboard Awards combined, many platinum and gold records, with TOP 10 hits from across the globe. This year's judging panel included: Al Di Meola, Arturo Sandoval, Jon Secada, Carlos Oliva, Diego Torres, Leonid Agutin, Jimmy Rosenberg, Richard Bravo, Angelica Maria Varum, Orlando "Maraca' Valle, Slava Moroz-Gutman, Mikhail Reva, Tasula Mia, and Harold Ortiz, Frantisek Brikcius, and Hobart Earle.
The judging panel has announced this week their decision to award David Serero for Best Song Arrangement Award. A world-renowned musician, Richard Bravo, commented upon David Serero's arrangement of Thriller: "Very impressive interpretation of a timeless classic!".
David Serero arranged and produced his Jazz Big Band version of "Thriller," initially recorded by Michael Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones, as part of his new Broadway project: "Scarface, The Al Capone Musical," where he extensively showcases his talents as an arranger and producer with premiere arrangements of Jazz, Hip-Hop, adding colors of Opera, and Musical Theater. Before being a worldwide renowned opera singer, actor, and producer, he started his music career as a jazz pianist, arranger, and record producer.

David Serero is a critically acclaimed and awards-winner opera singer, actor, director, and producer.
